Bid on a live, in-person beer tasting with an award-winning homebrewer. Allen Perper has been brewing and teaching about beers for over 25 years and promises to make this a 2-hour event you will remember. The session will begin with a short history of beer, details about brewing ingredients, the beer-making process, beer characteristics, and an overview of beer styles. Then, when you can't stand any more talking, Allen will lead you thru a tasting of at least 8 brews that promise to be excellent representations of their style.

You will have the opportunity to ‘grade’ the beers and learn more about what you like and don’t like in a brew; so the next time your bartender sez "Whaddya want" you don't sputter and say something like "Oh I'll just have something light." You should demand the beer that fits your palette.  And after this session, you'll know what that means.
